Item

An "Item" in SuiteMaker is a particular type of item, such as a book-case, chair or pair of armcaps.

A particular Item can be added to a Range to give an item that could actually be manufactured. Without a Range, you need to make, say, a bookcase, but with a Range you know that it's the Washington BookCase that is needed.
