SuiteMaker follows the Windows interface standard, making it easy to learn and use.
We have done extensive usability testing of the program to make it simple and quick to use. When setting up a new Range we found that one part of the process was best described as "click hell".... just too many mouse clicks, so we rewrote that and similar areas to make the program as nice to use as possible.
We have carefully set up the program to go as fast as possible when in real use. For example, when entering orders, the program loads the complete list of ranges, items, fabrics, and colours so that you can enter order after order and you only need to wait for your fingers to do the typing!
* SuiteMaker can be readily made to run on Linux, which means we can make substantial savings on Microsoft licence fees (Client Operating System, Client Access Licence to the Server, Client Access Licence to SQLServer, Multiple Copies of Microsoft Office, SQLServer itself and Windows Server)
