Databases SuiteMaker is written to use ODBC to communicate with the back-end database. The database can be either local (for single users) or over a TCP/IP network. We use a particular SQL function called a sub-query which means that some databases are unsuitable. We know the following databases work: Microsoft SQLServer Microsoft Access We believe that we should also be able to work with other databases with little or no change.
